Compact and affordable, this wind data logger is ideal for testing the viability of a location prior to the installation of a wind turbine. The WindLog collects data in real time and also logs average speed, wind gusts, and average direction. The user-selectable logging intervals range from one minute to one hour, and the 1 MB Flash memory stores over one year’s worth of wind data. Data can be downloaded using the included 15´ USB cable and Windows-based WindLogger™ software (WindSoft) that uses an SQLite database to track and record wind information. WindSoft can generate statistics, graphs, and reports. The USB cable can be left connected to the WindLog for real-time viewing of wind data on your computer. Support mast included. Two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
